Position: Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician Location: 1203 Fones Road SE, Olympia, WA 98501 Your Job Georgia-Pacific is now hiring a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join our Corrugated facility in Olympia, WA Note: Candidates must provide their own set of basic tools. Specialty tools willbe provided by Georgia-Pacific. Compensation Starting Wage: $35.73/hour After Electrical Assessment (typically after 6 months): $42.00/hour Retention Bonus: $500 after 90 days of employment Additional $1,000 after 180 days of employment Shifts Only candidates who are flexible and available to work any shift will be considered. 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (starts Monday night) PM Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Thursday–Sunday) Availability: Overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed About Our Team Our team adds value by safely supporting the production of corrugated boxes for our customers. How We Make Corrugated Boxes (video) Learn About Our Products Benefits Medical and dental insurance Life insurance 401(k) with company match Paid vacation Paid holidays (including floating holidays) What You Will Do Adhere to all plant safety, environmental policies, and procedures Help meet or exceed production, quality, and waste goals through effective maintenance Install and repair mechanical drives, chains, sprockets, gears, belts, and couplings Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance safely and on time Upload/download necessary software and access manuals for equipment repairs Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and basic electrical systems Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics Maintain and troubleshoot automated systems with support from remote technicians Basic Qualifications (Who You Are) At least 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or military environment Ability to read technical drawings and schematics Skilled in preventive and predictive maintenance Experience troubleshooting: Bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, and conveyors Mechanical and basic electrical equipment Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems About Elite Technical Recruiting Elite Technical Recruiting is a Direct Placement firm partnering with manufacturing companies, successfully placing Skilled Trades and Engineering professionals.
