Responsible for handling guests requests or complaints quickly and courteously.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Responsible for cleanings guest rooms as assigned by SupervisorProperly load your cart per specifications at the beginning of your shiftService all stay-over rooms, changing sheets/pillow slips daily and replenishing towels/amenities as neededClean all check-out rooms thoroughly, with close attention to detail, changing sheets and pillow slips in each roomHandle biohazard spills in accordance with company procedures as well as OSHA guidelinesChange bath rugs in checkout rooms, replenishing towels and amenities as neededCheck status of the rooms during morning and afternoon room check, and update the status of room via the telephone after completing cleaning assignment in checkout roomsMaintain high standards of guest relations when in contact with the guests, and assist with extra towels, soap, shampoo, lotion, note pads, etc., when requestedInform the status board of any items left in a checkout roomProperly secure all guest rooms when exitingProvide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team membersPerform other duties as assignedRequirements:QualificationsOne month of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferredPrevious experience working in a team or group environmentAbility to functionally communicate occupational-based English, both written and verbalAble to interact with guests in a professional and courteous mannerMust be at least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredObtain and maintain all work cards as required by the companyVerify right to work in the United StatesWork CardsNonePhysical RequirementsFrequently push and/or pull up to 50 lbs.Frequently bend, reach, squat, and kneelConstantly walk, stand, and use of hearing and visionWork Environment Potential ConditionsIndoorSmoky and noisyChemical agents and exposure to dustDisclaimerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
