Substitute Support Staff (Southern Nye Schools)
Pahrump Schools
On-call, as needed, no more than 28 hours per week
Funding Source: General Fund
Hourly Rate: Amount will match Step 0 of the job that is being subbed.
Job Goal:
To provide support in the support staff job classifications when classified employees are absent for any reason. Substitute Support Staff positions include: Clerical, Custodial, Lunch Aide and/or Paraprofessional duties.
Qualifications:
* Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
* Must pass a reference check, mandatory fingerprint background check and drug and alcohol testing
* Must complete day observations in each job classification
Working Conditions:
Working in office, classroom and/or school setting and provided with supplies necessary to carry out functions of position description.
